FAQ's
What makes Inna Seeds different from traditional seed cycling?
Inna takes a more considered approach to seed cycling. Alongside the traditional seeds used in each phase, we’ve added chia seeds and spinach to create a more nutrient dense blend.
The ingredients and quantities have been carefully measured to provide a beneficial ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids in
each phase. Omega-3 fatty acids are known for their role in supporting the body’s healthy inflammatory response, while omega-6 fatty acids are also essential for normal health and wellbeing.
We’ve also included spinach for an additional source of nutrients, including iron, folate and vitamin C. This can be particularly useful during the menstrual phase, when iron is lost through menstrual bleeding.
The result is a thoughtfully formulated blend that goes beyond simply combining seeds each phase and is designed to provide a variety of nutrients to complement your cycle and support your overall nutritional needs.
How do I use Inna seeds?
There’s no complicated routine, simply add your daily blend to your favourite foods and drinks. Try mixing it into a smoothie, ice cream, porridge or yoghurt, sprinkling it over a salad, or enjoying it straight from the spoon.
What if my menstrual cycle isn’t exactly 28 days?
That’s completely ok. Menstrual cycles can naturally vary from person to person and from month to month. For seed cycling, begin Phase 1 on the first day of your period and continue through day 14. On day 15 (or after ovulation), switch to Phase 2, and take until the day your next period begins.
The aim is to provide a simple, consistent nutritional routine that complements your natural menstrual cycle. So, even if your cycle is shorter, longer, or varies from month to month, you can still follow the two phase approach as a simple framework for incorporating different seeds throughout your cycle.
Should I always start on the first day of my period?
If you’re getting regular periods, yes. You can use the first day of your period as your starting point. Begin with Phase 1 on Day 1, then switch to Phase 2 on Day 15.
If you’re spotting before your period begins, consider the first day of your period to be the day you experience a proper/full bleed, rather than light spotting. If you’re not currently getting periods, you can use the next new moon as a starting point. Begin with Phase 1 on that day, then move to Phase 2 on Day 15.

How long should I use Inna seeds cycling blend?
There’s no set time frame for everyone, as every body and cycle is different. We recommend making seed cycling part of your daily routine and giving yourself at least 3 months to establish a consistent habit and see how it fits into your routine.
Some people may notice changes sooner, while for others it may take longer. The most important thing is to be consistent and give your body time to adjust to a new nutritional routine.
Inna Seeds are 100% whole foods, providing nutrients such as magnesium, iron, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B1, B2 and B6, selenium, copper, folate, biotin, zinc and omega-3 fatty acids.
These nutrients play important roles in everyday wellbeing, from supporting normal energy production and immune function to contributing to healthy skin, brain function, heart health and overall nutrition.
Everyone’s experience with seed cycling is different, so you may not notice changes in your cycle or symptoms straight away. In the meantime, you’re still adding a variety of nutrient rich whole foods to your daily routine making seed cycling a simple way to nourish your body from the inside out.
Can I use Inna seeds while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Seeds are natural and nutritious, however everyone is different. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider before starting seed cycling to make sure it’s right for you.
What if I miss a day?
Don’t worry! Just pick up where you left off and continue with the blend for your current phase. Missing a day is no big deal.
What if I don’t have a regular menstrual cycle?
Don’t worry if your period doesn’t arrive exactly when expected. Continue taking Phase 2 until your period begins, then start Phase 1 on the first day of your period.
If your menstrual cycle is difficult to track, you can use the moon cycle as a simple alternative: Phase 1: New Moon → Full Moon (approximately two weeks) Phase 2: Full Moon → New Moon (approximately two weeks).
Following this rhythm provides an easy structure when your own cycle is irregular or unpredictable. It can help you stay consistent with your daily nutrients while creating a simple, intentional routine that connects with the natural rhythm of the lunar cycle.
